Bennievibez reports that a woman ordered a burger from a fast-food chain only to find a human finger when she bit into the meal.
The woman named Estefany Benitez said she visited a fast-food chain in the city of Santa Cruz, Bolivia, and asked for a hamburger.
Ms. Benitez told local media that, after taking a few bites, she felt something unexpectedly hard in her mouth. When she spat it out she realized to her disgust that it had been a “rotting” human finger.
She reported the incident to local police, who averred that the foreign object was indeed a “rotting” finger.
The burger joint temporarily closed while the matter was investigated.
Authorities investigating the case of a “rotting” human finger found in a hamburger say that a worker in the factory where the burger was made had lost two fingers in an industrial accident and they couldn’t trace the fingers. One has now been found in the burger but they still can’t trace the second finger.
The worker at the burger factory had trapped their hand in a meat grinder on the previous Friday, investigation revealed.
“Everything points to the fact that the worker who was operating that meat grinding machine possibly lost two fingers,” said Jorge Silva, Bolivia’s Deputy Minister of Consumer Defence.
“One of them would have appeared in a hamburger and it is not known what happened to the other”.
He added that it was possible that parts of the second finger could have found their way into burgers sent to other branches of the “Hot Burger” fast-food chain.
A company spokesperson said that because of the “chance incident” involving one of its employees, its emergency procedures were activated, prioritizing the health of the worker, who is currently recovering.
They added that the company had initiated an internal investigation to determine how “a foreign element” arrived at one of its branches, while they are collaborating with the authorities, and said that the injured employee was already “in recovery”.
Youth Unemployment Is Equal To Insecurity – NLC Tells Buhari Govt
The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has urged the federal government to urgently address the issue of youth unemployment in Nigeria.
Wabba revealed further that the situation of youth unemployment in Nigeria is very much a big factor in the insecurity plaguing the country.
To tackle insecurity, Wabba submitted that the government must first provide meaningful jobs for its youths.
He made the submission while speaking at the 40th-anniversary celebration of the Labour Writers Association of Nigeria.
Wabba said, “There is no difference between unemployment and insecurity; it is a fact and has been established.
“Decent jobs are very important because without decent jobs there will be no security, no social progress for everybody. That is why the SDG 8.7 has been tied to having decent jobs.”
On his part, the Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, who was represented at the event by Special Adviser on Media, Nwachukwu Obidiwe praised the Muhammadu Buhari government high in the aspect of youth employment.
He said in the past six years of the Buhari administration, a lot of achievements have been recorded in terms of job creation and youth employment, and empowerment.
He noted that on a yearly basis, Nigeria turns out thousands of youths into the labor market.
In other news, controversial Islamic cleric, Ahmad Gumi, on Sunday warned against declaring bandits as terrorists, adding that the decision will come with a prize.
This is coming after lawmakers in the National Assembly charged President Muhammadu Buhari to declare bandits as terrorists following attacks in the Northern part of the country.
Gumi in a post on his Facebook account noted that the actions of bandits in the Northwest which has seen innocent people killed are tantamount to terrorism.
He, however, said the moment bandits are declared terrorists, the direct foreign Jihadist movements will set in force, and many unemployed youths may find it palatable and attractive.
Gumi added that nothing stops kinetic actions from going on without the controversy of semantics.
Release Your Land For Ranching – Presidency Tells State Governors Again
The presidency has reiterated its stand that ranching is the way to curb the frequent clashes and fights between the farmers and herders in Nigeria.
To this end, the presidency has again called on the various Governors to make land available for ranching in their respective states.
He stated this as part of his response to the criticism of the federal government by an international publication – The Economist.
The publication had blamed Buhari for failing to tackle poverty, Boko Haram, and dealing with police brutality.
The century-old newspaper also accused the Nigerian Army of only being mighty on paper, with its officials selling weapons to terrorists
Garba however in his response, insisted that the farmer-herdsmen clashes didn’t just start, added that the Buhari administration is doing everything possible to curb the situation.
The presidential spokesperson added that no other government has done what the Buhari administration has done in the past six years to bring the situation under control.
He said, “The Federal ranches program, launched shortly after the President’s re-election is the first of its kind – and it is working: during the last 12 months clashes have significantly reduced.
“The government now calls on State governors to have the imagination to join forces with the Federal administration and expand this program by making available state lands for those interested, now that its effectiveness has been demonstrated.”
Meanwhile, the pan-Yoruba socio-political organization, Afenifere, says one of the individuals who will feature prominently whenever the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari is being appraised is the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Mr. Abubakar Malami SAN.
It however pointed out that Malami would not be remembered for exemplary positive contributions to the nation and to humanity but for the unprecedented damage, he caused the administration he served to commit.
Naija News reports that Afenifere stated this while faulting Malami’s attempt to label Sunday Adeyemo (alias Igboho) a terrorist saying it “was the height of an attempt to nail Adeyemo at all cost even without justification.’’
Stop Attacking Buhari – South-East Govs Beg Mbaka
The Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka, has been charged by South-East Governors to stop attacking President Muhammadu Buhari.
David Umahi, the Chairman of the Forum and Governor of Ebonyi State, accompanied by Governor of Enugu State, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi pleaded with the cleric during the annual harvest, thanksgiving, and bazaar of the Adoration Ministry, on Sunday.
Umahi in his plea told Mbaka that governors in the region, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, and other prominent people are working on securing the release of the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.
The Ebonyi State Governor who donated ₦30m, 200 yams, and 100 bags of rice during the thanksgiving service, added that the Federal Government is working on reviving the economy of the nation to reduce poverty.
He advised that “those elected into the position of authority should provide good governance to the masses who elected them.”
In another development, the convener of the Concerned Nigerian movement, Deji Adeyanju, has charged Justice Binta Nyako of an Abuja Federal High Court to hand off the case of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.
Adeyanju in a chat with Daily Post said the husband of justice Nyako hails from the Fulani tribe, hence the reason for the judge to step down from Kanu’s trial.

Soldiers Successfully Stage Military Coup In Sudan, Prime Minister Arrested
Soldiers on Monday morning successfully carried out an offensive against members of the country’s caretaker government.
It was learned that Abdalla Hamdok the Sudanese Prime Minister was taken into custody by soldiers after an unknown team of soldiers raided his residence.
This new development has raised fears of yet another military coup in a country rocked by political turmoil.
According to local media reports, armed soldiers have held 5 ministers, including four military members and one civilian, of the Transitional Sovereignty Council.
Al Hadath TV reports that a media aide to Mr. Hamdok was also reportedly arrested.
This armed offensive is the latest of many to remove Hamdok, who assumed power in 2019, from power.
Sudanese Professionals Association said in a statement that citizens should take to the streets to reject any military coup.
Internet outages were also reported across the capital Khartoum on Monday and averred by web infrastructure monitors Netblocks.
“Internet disrupted in #Sudan amid reports of military coup and detention of Prime Minister; real-time network data show national connectivity at 34% of ordinary levels; incident ongoing,” the group said on its Twitter handle.
Recall that protesters loyal to the military had on Sunday blocked entrances leading to the capital.
Military and civilians have been sharing power since Omar al-Bashir was ousted in 2019, and last month’s attempted coup was summarily blamed on soldiers loyal to Bashir, who has been charged with war crimes.
National Convention: Only PDP Can Rescue Nigeria From Catastrophe Brought By APC – Seyi Makinde
The Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has said it is only the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that can save Nigeria from the current catastrophe being experienced under President Muhammadu Buhari-led government.
Bennievibez understands that Makinde revealed this while affirming that PDP’s national convention will hold as earlier scheduled.
The opposition party National Convention Organising Committee had announced earlier that its convention will hold between 30-31.
A faction of the party stood as opposition after it instituted a case at the Kaduna High Court in an attempt to prevent the convention on the scheduled dates.
However, in a statement titled, “Statement by the PDP National Convention Organising Committee Regarding the Case Instituted at the High Court in Kaduna to Prevent the PDP from Holding its National Convention on October 30 and 31, 2021,” Governor Makinde who doubles as the Chairman of the Committee maintained that the convention will hold as scheduled in spite of the threats.
Makinde said the committee was alerting “members of our party and members of the public that we are aware of the actions of a few misguided PDP members who have approached the High Court in Kaduna in an attempt to prevent our great party, the PDP from holding its National Convention on October 30 and 31, 2021.
“Notwithstanding their right to approach a court of competent jurisdiction to air their grievances, we maintain that the National Executive Committee of the PDP has acted in good faith in fixing our convention for October 30 and 31. It is not meant to witch-hunt anyone or to truncate anyone’s mandate.”
The Oyo State governor charged the party faithful to ignore distractions and keep the focus on the progress of the party.
The statement further read, “Therefore, we call on all members and supporters of the PDP to ignore this distraction as we prepare to host a convention that will send a clear signal to Nigerians that the PDP is the only party that has the will and the might to rescue Nigeria from the catastrophe that we have been enduring for the past six years.
“We are aware that a united PDP is a threat to the forces that seek to divide us. Therefore, we urge our teeming supporters nationwide to keep the faith as we are taking all necessary measures to ensure that we will not be distracted from our goal.”
The committee, he said, was determined to strengthen the party structure and put in the work needed to unify and restore Nigeria on the path to economic prosperity and greatness.
