Bennievibez reports that Chelsea clashes against Norwich City at Stamford Bridge this afternoon in the early kick-off of this weekend’s English Premier League match.
This online news platform understands that the Chelsea vs Norwich City EPL match is a match against the League Leaders and one of the bottoms in the league table.
Chelsea is at the summit, a point clear of Liverpool in second. Norwich meanwhile has had a real struggle on their return to the Premier League and is winless through the first eight games, sitting bottom of the table with just two points so far, scoring only two goals and conceding 16 in the first two months of the season.
Chelsea will be without Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner for the game as they both sustained injuries in the 4-0 win against Malmo in midweek. Lukaku has an ankle problem while Werner twinged his hamstring in the first half of the comfortable win.
The Canaries have no new injury concerns heading into the game. Mathias Normann should be fit for the visitors but Todd Cantwell won’t be involved as he continues his comeback from injury.
The Blues have an early chance to put themselves four points clear of Liverpool in the standings if they beat Norwich, with Jurgen Klopp’s men not in action until Sunday when they play Manchester United.

Carrick Steps Down As Man. United Coach(Read Details Here)
Michael Carrick has decided to step down as First Team Coach and leave the club following the conclusion of his spell as caretaker Manager.
BennievibezBlog learned that John Murtough, Football Director, in a statement on United’swebsite said: “Michael leaves with the sincerest thanks and best wishes of everyone at Manchester United after 15 years of exceptional service to the club as a player and as a coach. While we are sad to see him go, we respect and understand Michael’s decision.
“He will always be known as one of the finest midfielders in the history of Manchester United, and, more recently, as an excellent coach who has worked tirelessly under two managers to help develop the strong squad which Ralf will now take charge of.
“We are grateful for the steady leadership Michael has shown through this period of managerial transition, and, while he is now stepping away from day-to-day involvement, he will always be welcome back as a legend of the club.”

Carrick said: “My time at this great club will always rank as the best years of my career. When I first signed over 15 years ago, I never in my wildest dreams could have imagined winning so many trophies and I will certainly never forget the fantastic memories both as a player and as a member of the coaching team.
“However, after a lot of thought and deliberation, I have decided that now is the right time for me to leave the club. I want to place on record my thanks to all of the players and a special mention goes to the backroom staff, working long hours with such a great group of people has been a real pleasure and I have made some long-lasting friendships.”
He added that: “I am, and will always be, a Manchester United fan and will come to as many matches as possible. I would like to wish Ralf, the staff, the players and the fans all the best for the future and I look forward to being in the stands and supporting the boys as a fan.”
Bennievibez recalls that Michael played 464 games for Manchester United between 2006 and 2018, winning five Premier League titles, the FA Cup, two League Cups, the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Europa League, and the FIFA Club World Cup.

Manchester United Vs Arsenal Live Reddit Score 2/12/2021
Michael Carrick has earned 2 positive results during his time in ‘interim interim charge’, but on Monday morning, the news that all Man United fans were waiting for was made known, as Ralf Rangnick prepares to lead the team for the remainder of the 2021-22 season.
The 63-year-old’s work allowed has not been sorted in time for him to take the reins on Thursday, but a Carrick-led Man United performed valiantly at Stamford Bridge to take a point home from a 1-1 draw on Sunday evening. After the decision to bench Cristiano Ronaldo sent shockwaves through the fanbase, United took the lead as Jadon Sancho took advantage of Jorginho’s heavy touch before the Italian – who finished third in the Ballon d’Or – restored parity from the penalty spot.
However, that point has done little to assist United’s position in the table, as they sit eighth with 18 points to their name – 3 places and 5 points worse off than their upcoming opponents – and home has not been where the heart is for the Red Devils recently. Indeed, United have taken just one point from their last four Premier League games at the Theatre of Dreams – scoring only once in that time – but the home crowd will certainly be in a vibrant mood as Mikel Arteta’s young guns seek to spoil the party.
After witnessing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang produce one of the worst misses the Emirates has ever seen and the ever-reliable Aaron Ramsdale being forced into action again, it seemed like it was going to be one of those days for Arsenal before Mikel Arteta’s starlets came to the fore.
Bukayo Saka linked up neatly with Nuno Tavares to open the scoring before being forced off injured, but his replacement – Gabriel Martinelli – took no time at all to double his side’s lead with a deft volley from Takehiro Tomiyasu’s delightful pass.
The Gunners quelled fears of a lack of open play goals by responding in the perfect way to their Anfield thumping, and following West Ham United’s defeat to Manchester City, Arteta’s men are now level on points with their fourth-placed counterparts.
Arsenal are undoubtedly benefitting from the rare absence of European football this season, and they had kept three consecutive clean sheets on the road before losing at Liverpool, although a paltry three goals away from home is the second-fewest in the league behind Norwich City.
However, Arsenal are unbeaten in their last six Premier League encounters with Man United and have not conceded a goal to the Red Devils since September 2019, but there ought to be a new wave of optimism around Old Trafford as Arteta’s youthful prospects prepare for a true test of their mettle.
Man United centre-back Harry Maguire returns from suspension in time to face the Gunners and is sure to slot straight back into the defence, in spite of his shaky performances this term, with Eric Bailly perhaps being unfairly dropped.
Paul Pogba, Edinson Cavani and Raphael Varane make up a trio of absentees for the hosts, who are still sweating over the fitness of Luke Shaw due to a head injury.
Ronaldo surely cannot fathom being benched for such a crucial game again and could take the place of Marcus Rashford in the first XI, that is if the United boss sticks with the midfield-heavy 4-3-1-2 formation. As for the Gunners, Saka went down holding his groin in the Newcastle win, and Arteta subsequently confirmed that the 20-year-old – who placed sixth in this year’s Kopa Trophy – did feel a muscular problem.
Saka has not been ruled out of this game just yet, but the door has opened for Martinelli to earn a deserved start, and Arteta’s only two confirmed absentees at this time are long-term victims Sead Kolasinac (ankle) and Granit Xhaka (knee). Alexandre Lacazette’s run in the starting lineup came to an end on Saturday as Martin Odegaard returned to the first XI, and it is difficult to see the Norwegian losing his place here.
Manchester United possible starting lineup:
De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Maguire, Lindelof, Telles; Matic, Fred, McTominay; Fernandes; Sancho, Ronaldo
Arsenal possible starting lineup:
Ramsdale; Tomiyasu, White, Gabriel, Tavares; Partey, Lokonga; Martinelli, Odegaard, Smith Rowe; Aubameyang
We say: Manchester United 1-1 Arsenal
It is difficult to know exactly what to expect from this Man United side as the club works to sort out Rangnick’s visa, but if the hosts want to impress the much-admired German, a greater urgency to press higher up the field should be on the menu.
Arsenal’s alarming lack of goals away from home will not be helped by Saka’s expected absence and Aubameyang’s misfiring tendencies, but they have been a bogey team for United in recent years and can harbour hopes of all three points here, although they may have to settle for just one.

Carrick to lead Man United against Arsenal
Manchester United have announced that Michael Carrick will be in charge of the club’s Premier League game against Arsenal in the position of caretaker manager.
United had yesterday made known the appointment of Ralf Rangnick as interim manager until the end of the season.
The Germain will, however, not be able to immediately take charge of the club due to the regulatory process around a work visa.
This leaves Carrick in charge, a former club player who supervised the 2-0 Champions League win against Villareal and the 1-1 draw at Chelsea after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s sacking.
“Michael has communicated this to players and staff at Carrington in a busy week for the club,” United said on their website on Tuesday.
United welcome Arsenal to Old Trafford on Thursday followed by Crystal Palace on Sunday.
BREAKING: Lionel Messi beats Robert Lewandowski and Jorginho to win his 7th Ballon d’Or award
The Argentine superstar, who left Barcelona as a free agent to sign for Paris Saint-Germain in the summer, was presented with the award for best men’s footballer in the world on Monday night in Paris.
Back in July, the 34-year-old ended his long wait for a major international trophy by winning the Copa America with Argentina as they beat hosts Brazil in the final.
Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski, who was the favourite to win the 2020 edition of the Ballon d’Or, came second in the vote.
Lewandowski has netted 73 goals in just 60 games for Bayern Munich since the start of last season, and won FIFA’s and UEFA’s men’s player of the year awards in 2020.
Chelsea midfielder, Jorginho finished third in the 2021 Ballon d’Or rankings. The 29-year-old had a phenomenal 2021, after winning the Champions League and European Championships for club and country in the space of two months.
Jorginho went on to win the UEFA Men’s Player of the Year award following Chelsea’s glory in Europe and in Porto back in May.

England – Premier League
Date: Sunday 28th November 2021
Kick off at 16:30 UK/ 17:30 CET
Venue: Stamford Bridge (London)
Chelsea will visit Manchester United on Matchday 13 of the 2021/22 Premier League on Sunday, pitting two of the country’s most powerful teams against one other.
When Chelsea takes on an under-pressure Manchester United side at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, they will be looking to maintain their lead at the top of the Premier League standings.
Chelsea has had extraordinary start to the new season, and they now sit atop the table with 29 points from 12 games (W9 D2 L1).
The Blues have the greatest defensive record in the league, and they’ve started to show some attacking flair in recent weeks, beating Leicester City 3-0 last weekend and thrashing Juventus 4-0 in the Champions League earlier this week.
Chelsea will need to keep winning to protect their hold on first place, with Liverpool and Manchester City not far behind. A forlorn Manchester United team, who have lost five of their past seven league matches, will stand in their way of triumph.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s term as manager came to an end after this terrible run and a thrashing at the hands of Watford last week. For the time being, former player Michael Carrick has taken over as caretaker manager, as the club works to recruit Ralf Rangnick as temporary manager until the conclusion of the season.
Carrick, who took control of his first game in the Champions League in midweek, guided Manchester United to a hard-fought 2-0 victory over Villarreal, ensuring the team’s progression to the next round. He and his players will hope to take confidence from that performance, but they will have a far tougher test against a Chelsea side in fine form.
Chelsea vs Manchester United Head to Head :
- Last season this fixture ended 0-0 and indeed the last two meetings have finished in this scoreline.
- Chelsea have only beaten Manchester United on 1 occasion from the last 9 meetings.
- There is a 60% chance to see under 2.5 goals.
Chelsea vs Manchester United Prediction :
Manchester United have not lost in their last five Premier League visits to Stamford Bridge, but that appears certain to change this weekend.
The Red Devils are nothing near their best, despite putting up a strong effort in midweek to get back on track.
Chelsea, on the other hand, are running like a well-oiled machine under Thomas Tuchel, and have turned in two brilliant performances in the previous week against Leicester City and Juventus.
Chelsea, who are also missing their first-choice centre-back combination, may put Manchester United to the sword on Sunday if they play like they did in midweek.
Despite the visitors’ best efforts to pull a goal back, the Premier League leaders are expected to cruise to victory at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea vs Manchester United Team News :
While there is still optimism that Ben Chilwell will be able to play for Chelsea this season, he will not be available until the New Year at the earliest due to knee ligament injury sustained against Juventus.
N’Golo Kante twisted his knee in midweek and will be out of the game today.
Harry Maguire is suspended for United, but Luke Shaw, Edinson Cavani, and Mason Greenwood might all return.
Raphael Varane and Paul Pogba remain on the bench.
Chelsea Probable Lineup (3-4-2-1): Mendy; Azpilicueta, Silva, Rudiger; James, Loftus-Cheek, Jorginho, Alonso; Mount, Hudson-Odoi; Werner
Manchester United Probable Lineup (4-2-3-1): de Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Bailly, Telles; McTominay, Fred; Sancho, Fernandes, Rashford; Ronaldo
